Mardi Gras Parade
The annual Mardi Gras Parade -- a little different in Breckenridge than in New Orleans, but fun just the same!

All photos taken on 3/7/2000. This year's parade was mostly vehicular. I bet they don't feature a snow plow in the New Orleans version!

The folks on the truck fling bead necklaces and candies to the crowd. (You can see two necklaces in mid-fling in the first photo on the page). One of the necklaces smacked me in the face just after I took this shot! Oh, the hazards of partying.
