Please enjoy our photographs of the International Snow Sculpture Championships, held in Breckenridge Colorado! This event takes place in late January/early February, every year.

The schedule for the 2012 competition is:
Tuesday
January 24 First day of sculpting (you can watch all week, while the sculptors work) Saturday January 28 Last day of sculpting; completed at 10am. Sculptures on display. Sunday January 29 Awards ceremony at 3pm. Sculptures on display through Sunday, February 6th (weather permitting) Sunday February 5 Last day to view sculptures (until approximately 11pm)
(Note: if you are a sculptor wishing to participate in the competition for 2011, applications will go out in May 2010, and will be due in July 2010).
