
Looking north, you can see Lake Dillon off in the distance.

Bear did great. The strong winds made his ears stand at
attention! It was pretty chilly up there -- you definitely need a
warm winter coat, hat, and gloves if you hike it in October, like
I did.

My favorite photo of the trip! Looking northwest over McCullough
Gulch. That frozen pond in the center is at around 12,700 feet --
more than 1500 feet below me!
