Here's the lovely Goose Pasture Tarn, with Mount Baldy
(elevation 13,679 feet) in the background.
You can also see Boreas Pass Road
carved into the hill, on the left.
Goose Pasture Tarn is a small lake just over 1 mile
south of Breckenridge. It's one of the drinking
water reservoirs for the town of Breckenridge. You can see some ice beginning to form,
especially
if you scroll to the far right.
On the far side of the Tarn is the prestigious
Spruce Valley Ranch subdivision of million dollar homes.
