Flowers in the Snow

Springtime in the Rockies can bring unpredictable weather. We were enjoying several days of beautiful weather: clear skies, lots of sunshine, shorts and shirt sleeves, flowers bursting out all over. Then.... El Nino's weirdo weather changed things for us, and it snowed on and off for 24 hours (with a few rays of sunshine mixed in)!
Photos taken on 6/5/98. A neighbor's garden, with snow on the
flowers. The little gnome on the rock has an extra reason to sulk
and brood!
A local store on Main Street. The wooden bear can't quite believe
